BDGW has provided waste, sorting and recycling services for Hopewell Residential Communities Inc. in the development of Copperfield for the past 6 years.
The recycling program for Mahogany has an estimated contract value of over $11 million over the development term of the project!
The terms and conditions of the contract will be reviewed yearly in November.
BDGW has also entered into a contract with The Cedarglen Group, one of Calgary’s leading home builders, to provide exclusive waste and recycling solutions to all of Cedarglen’s single family homes in the Calgary market.
This contract is expected to bring revenues in excess of $500k to BDGW in 2008.
The Town of Chestermere has extended it’s curbside refuse pickup contract with BDGW until March of 2009.
This contract includes approximately 4000 homes picked up on a weekly basis.
The revenue generated for BDGW is approximately $250k per year!
Extending this contract past the extension date is currently under negotiations. While servicing this area BDGW is able to attract new clients in the surrounding areas enabling the establishment of long term route organization and infrastructure development.
Continuation of this program will continue to add to BDGW’s customer base and help in developing operations in the surrounding areas.
