So I’ve been dabbling with the  Options Xpress Virtual Trading  platform and so far I have to say it is absolutely amazing.  In the past I used to recommend to up and coming traders that they paper trade in a small notebook on on excel spreadsheets.  This used to be the best way to do it untill now.  I had a good friend of mine highly recommend it to me.  After hearing about everything he was doing, I reluctantly went to the  OptioneXpress  site and signed up for an account.  Its free to open an account but the best part it you get access to all the video trading (probably worth hundreds of dollars for the educational material alone) as well as their platform.

Now I’m not going to go as far as saying that practice makes perfect, but when it comes to growing and developing your skills in trading it can’t be beat.  And best of all you don’t even need to risk a thing.

When you open a  OptionsXpress Virtual Trading  account you are instantly given access to the platform.  You log into the TOOLBOX and then go to VIRTUAL TRADE.  From there you add money to your account.  And here I want to make a point.  Start practicing with a balance that it similar to what you have in your trading account because it will help you keep things in perspective when you choose your position sizing and money management.  

The virtual trade screens are almost identical to the ones in the live trading platform.  This lets you practice entering custom orders and advanced trading and option strategies.
